A library is an important part of a school. The huge library is the centre of knowledge at Takshashila International School. It is ventilated beautiful library with wide variety of books on various subjects with periodicals and journals. It is a source of knowledge of the young minds. It develops the habits of reading among the students. Our School library subscribes to magazines and newspapers. These may be source of encouragement for the students to read the newspapers and periodicals. The books on literature, Science and history are a pleasure ground for the voracious young readers. The students come in touch with the books by famous authors. The reference books help them to learn more on various subjects. We have a state of the art library that helps the students in updating their knowledge.

Apart from the central library we have class library of small size in classroom. The books for particular classes are selected by the language teachers and it is ensured that every child can reads at least ten good books (apart from the course) in a year.

The hostellers are also motivated to read good literature and newspapers.
